A Brief History

Mr. Samuel Hadden built what has become Bodles in 1855 as a carriage and sleigh factory and a generation after passing it on to new ownership the location became a Chevrolet sales and repair shop. The structure later went into stagnancy and disrepair until 1985 when locally known vaudevillian Jarvis Boone saved it from demolition and founded Bodles, a unique extension of his personality known for its singing wait staff and eclectic performances.

In 1999 longtime singing waitress, Pat Mazo purchased the business and building from the Boone family and has continued a tradition of In-house performance along with a wonderful variety of touring national, regional and local performers! Between shows she proudly makes the space available to you, family and friends for private events and special occasions!
Ideally suited for private events, Bodles welcomes catering for up to 150 seated guests. Also, our warm & cozy “Maggies Bistro” located down stairs, will accommodate up to 50 guests for a more intimate dining experience.
